However, it has particularly affected the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles as Tesla has not delivered the Model S and Model X as updated versions of the new electric vehicles have been delayed.

Tesla Cuts Prices For Its Most Expensive Electric Vehicles To Drive Demand

In June, Tesla finally began taking delivery of the new Model S — starting with the new high-performance Plaid version, which also received a $10,000 price hike last month.

A few weeks later, when Tesla began shipping a new base version of the Model S, the Model S Long Range, Tesla raised the price of the car by $5,000.

The price went from $84,990 to $89,990 overnight and is now up $10,000 in the last month.

Meanwhile, Tesla is offering a limited amount of the base version of the new Model S as it focuses on delivering the Plaid version, which still starts at $129,990.

The automaker also recently updated the Model S delivery timeline for new orders, currently listing March through April for new Model S Long Range orders in the United States.

Meanwhile, Tesla recently claimed that it could increase production of the Model S/X to 2,000 units per week by the end of the year.

Especially when it comes to the Model S, I think it’s likely that Tesla is being opportunistic here and taking advantage of strong demand.

With the launch of the new version of the electric sedan, the price of the base model S increased by almost 30 percent from $69,420 to $89,990.

Tesla Turns Up Heat On Rivals With Global Price Cuts

If you want to impress, the Model S or X might be the car for you because their impressive size (and price tag) will get you noticed. Because of how long they’ve been in production, they’ve both been produced

Teslas, which many associate with the brand. The Model X might be a little too much for one person considering its size, but for those who like to drive big cars, it’s certainly a good choice.

For those who don’t need their car to make a bigger statement or (maybe) want to save up for something bigger, like maybe a house, going with a Model 3 or Y might be a better option. While the 3 and Y may not have the same impact as the Model X’s “egg Faberge” design, you’ll still find favor with Tesla owners and EV enthusiasts.

The Model 3 has been very popular for a reason. Owners of gas-guzzling vehicles have traded in cars ranging from the BMW 3 Series to the Honda Civic to upgrade to the popular electric vehicle. It’s been outselling basically all of its German competitors for years, so that has to mean something. Given that the Model Y shares more than 70 percent of its components with the Model 3, it will (most likely) be comparable to the Model 3, but in a slightly larger package.

Tesla Slashes Prices Yet Again, This Time On Model S, Model X

Verdict: The world is your oyster, take your pick. I mean, maybe not X, that’s a little big for one person, but who am I to tell you what to do? Want something that makes more of a statement? Take the S/X model. Do you want to save your money for other good things in life? Take the 3/Y model.

Sure, it’s easier to justify leaning toward the Model X now, but basically any Tesla model will do. Of course the 3 will be the smallest and tightest of the four options, but many have car seats in cars of the same size or smaller, so I’m sure you’ll be fine. [

Editor’s note: As someone with a Model 3 and two young daughters, I think the car is a perfect fit. We already had the Model S. I prefer model 3. I think we all do. But if I were in the market today, I’d probably go for the Model Y or Model X if I had enough money for it. – Zack

The Model Y is (again) a happy medium, providing enough room for a child or two in the back without committing to a much larger vehicle.

Verdict: As before, take your pick. Now it’s easier to suggest going with X, but Y would probably be the most reasonable option, unless you’re a falcon door fan. Model 3 will also work, but will be the most compact option.

So what if you have 4-6 children or often travel with a large number of family members? Well, now your options may be more limited.

The Model X is currently the only Tesla model with third-row seats. You can have a 6-seat configuration that turns the middle row into two captain’s chairs, or a 7-seat configuration that keeps the bench in the middle row with two folding seats in the back.

But if you’re willing to wait, your options expand a bit. First, the Model Y has a 7-seat option – but it won’t be in production until 2021, so you’ll have to wait a bit.

Your Only Options With a plug-in version of the Model S coming later this year, Tesla thinks it’s a good time to bring back the 2+5 seating that was available on the older Model S. This seating arrangement is standard. 5 seats but with two more seats in the back. Of course, when you do this, you’re giving up your trunk, but it’s an option. Remember to always frown.

Verdict: Do you need it now? Model X. Can you wait another year? Then you can add Model Y or Model S to your consideration list. Model 3? It is possible but it can get very crowded.

This is probably the most subjective part of an already subjective list. In our opinion, the Model Y offers (perhaps) the best value of any Tesla out there.

For most people, 300 miles or so is more than enough for daily driving, so the extra range the S/X allows isn’t the biggest benefit given the extra cost. The materials used inside the S/X are no flashier than the 3/Y – at least not because of the price difference.

The numbers speak for themselves. And the S/X has (now) taken up a smaller percentage of sales over time, with car buyers looking for more value in the 3 and now the Y. Elon Musk has stated that the S/X is really less important to us. Future.” Both are great cars, but when it comes to value, Tesla offers a great deal on their cheaper vehicles.

Given that the Y is so similar to the 3 (with more space), it’s easier to justify the Y as offering a bit more utility than the 3 for a few thousand dollars more.

A businessman may need a car to travel, transport goods, or simply want to make an impact. Whatever your scenario, Tesla has a car for you.

Model S is undoubtedly the most beautiful Tesla. It’s sure to impress potential customers and make you look like you’re a business. It’s built for comfort, so it’s perfect for those long business trips. It’s easy to do some laptop work while supercharging in the S’s roomy interior. But don’t expect too many stops, the Model S is equipped with a ridiculous 391 miles of range.
