Summer Camps For 12 Year Olds – Stone Mountain Adventures Summer Camp for Teens in Pennsylvania Stone Mountain Adventures (SMA) is a co-ed overnight camp for teens located in the heart of central Pennsylvania. Every day we create opportunities for teenagers to challenge themselves: horseback riding, rock climbing with good technique, wakeboarding or water skiing, and most importantly, to build lasting friendships. Building trust is our goal; freedom to explore, positive reinforcement and a superstar staff are our tools.

“At camp I feel free to be more honest with myself than when I’m at home with my school friends” – Jackson

What makes Rock Mountain Adventure unique? Campers choose their own activities each day Small size: we average only 60 campers per session, so there is plenty of room to grow. When you’re here, you’re family! Campers develop social skills as well as independence through independence, respect and personal challenges. Each day of free time is monitored to encourage creativity, sports, music and spontaneous fun. Sometimes the best moments of the summer are not on the schedule. We offer leadership opportunities for campers as they grow in high school A culture of acceptance and curiosity makes being a first-time high school camper easy!

At Stone Mountain Adventures, we create an atmosphere of freedom, fun and personal challenges that is sensitive to the pressures of the outside world but immersive enough to let teenagers find themselves and give them a summer to remember. The great outdoors is a powerful antidote to the prospect of a summer spent in front of a screen, and we’re inspired by our beautiful surroundings to provide teenagers with outdoor experiences that can energize, heal and teach. It is our passion to invite teenagers from all over the country and all over the world to come and share their summer with us! Read more…
