As a Catalyst Youth Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and families to create a fun learning environment.

Amazing Teenage Volunteer Summer Programs Abroad

Orlando Science Center’s Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program runs year-round, and many of our volunteers return year after year. Volunteering at the Orlando Science Center fulfills most middle school and high school community service requirements, and your dedication will make a difference in our community!

Volunteering at the Orlando Science Center will help you build skills, make friends, and create opportunities to continue learning and growing.

The Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program is highly competitive and requires a complete online application to be considered. Due to limited volunteer positions, the Orlando Science Center may not be able to select all applicants for a team. Current Catalyst Youth Volunteers have priority over new applicants to continue in future sessions.

Applications for the Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program are usually opened twice a year for the summer term and the school year.

Places Where Kids Can Volunteer In Nj

Youth Visitor Experience volunteers help around the Science Center, facilitate learning experiences in our exhibit halls and conduct science activities for our guests. This team signs up to volunteer for two weeks, Monday through Friday. Volunteers on this team can choose which session they want to join (each session is scheduled for two consecutive weeks), while spots are available.

Youth Camp Volunteers help out at our summer camp as youth runners (helping with various tasks in the morning) or as youth camp counselors (helping as teaching assistants in classrooms during the day). This team signs up to volunteer for 3 weeks, Monday through Friday. Volunteers on this team can choose which weeks they want to volunteer, even if places are available.
